Robert Denford, Brick Masonry instructor at Woodstock Job Corps Center, graduated from the International Masonry Institute Local 1 CT and has worked in the industry for over 20 years. He is a foreman of new construction and restoration and holds multiple certifications, including OSHA 10 and 30, scaffolding user and builder, forklift, and first aid. Robert has loved masonry since he was a child, and now he enjoys passing his knowledge to the next generation of masons.

has 30 years of structural welding and fabrication experience, which he brings to his role as Welding instructor at Woodstock Job Corps Center. Gino worked as an industrial and residential business owner and has experience in several supervisorial roles. He holds certifications from OSHA, American Welding Society, American Society of Mechanical Engineering and more. Gino studied at Milton Peters College and Florida Institute of Technology, and now loves teaching students how to work to the best of their ability.

is a Medical Administrative Assistant instructor at Woodstock Job Corps Center. A former graduate of the Charleston Job Corps Center, Alise completed CNA/GNA training and embarked on a career path in the allied health field. Her career background includes medical assisting, phlebotomy, medical administration, medical training and clinical staff management. She enjoys instructing her students and being a role model of the success that graduates can achieve. 

Jamila Allen, a former Woodstock Job Corps student, is now a Clinical Medical Assistant instructor. She also studied at Community College of Baltimore County and Prince George Community College and has experience working as a lead clinical medical assistant in cardiology and patient care tech, as well as in multi-specialty clinics, orthopedics and traumatology surgery. Jamila’s experiences provide her with the skills to teach in both a classroom and a clinical setting.

brings 30 years of experience as a Clinical Medical Assistant instructor at Woodstock Job Corps Center. She studied at Towson University, and her specialties include family practice, wound care, medical surgery, hospital and clinical education. Darlene has the necessary career skills to help students grow.

is an experienced law enforcement professional and the Security instructor at Woodstock Job Corps Center. Taliah has her MBA degree, and her education focused on policing, management, law, ethics and social responsibility. Her law enforcement roles, accompanied with her educational achievements, provided Taliah with the abilities to train, teach and mentor in a classroom.

Carpentry instructor Antonio Green is a journeyman carpenter who graduated from the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Apprenticeship Program. He has numerous jobsite certifications, including blueprint reading and layout, power actuated tools, aerial lift, and scaffold erector. Antonio has extensive jobsite experience from numerous different contractors and is proficient in layout, framing and drywall installation. Antonio enjoys passing his knowledge to others and working with students through the challenges and rewards of completing projects.

joined Woodstock Job Corps Center in December 2019 as the Network Cabling instructor. He is an eight-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he was a flight medic on the C-130 Hercules, C-5 Galaxy and a C-17 Globemaster with the 43rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron. Christopher also worked in telecommunications for over 20 years and is a BICSI-certified technician and a Fiber Optic Association-certified specialist. Christopher lives with his wife and daughter and enjoys golf, hunting, fishing and football.

is an HBI Building Construction Technology instructor at Woodstock Job Corps Center. He studied at North American Trade School and has experience in HVAC, plumbing and electrical work, as well as various other areas. Derrick has worked with young people for over 15 years and loves teaching the future leaders of the world.

Before joining Woodstock Job Corps Center as HBI Landscape instructor, Travis Webster was a landscape business owner with nearly 30 years of experience in the industry. His specialties are hardscaping, working with water features and landscape maintenance. Travis uses his experience as a business owner to train his students, as well as network with industry leaders to help provide training and placement opportunities for students. Travis is creative and thinks outside the box, which provides an exciting and engaging experience for Landscape students.
